Boeing 737 Winglet Modification Programme

Back to case studies

We were approached a European airline to undertake 5 back to back winglet modifications on their Boeing 737’s as part of their maintenance program.

JMC Engineering deployed a project manager to integrate with the maintenance and planning team of the airline to coordinate the deployment of a suitably qualified engineering team to their UK facility for completion of the works; whilst meeting their safety and compliance quality protocols.

Through our fully project managed innovative solution and specialist skill set JMC Engineering was able to complete the required programme of work without any disruption to the customer operations.

During the works our compliance and quality team were also able to assist the client in the facilitation of a CAA audit which was required at the time for the approval of an additional hangar.

To date JMC Engineering has now completed 9 winglet modifications with multiple customers in the EU.
